Luanda holds Tourism Fair

Luanda - A tourism fair has been underway since Saturday morning in Luanda sponsored by the Association of Tourist Guides of Angola in partnership with Caritas de Angola.

The fair gathers 40 exhibitors and runs until Sunday under the motto “Solidarity Economy associated to tourism”.

The event also ensures, among other issues, a balance in business, dialogue promotion and increase in tourism area.  

On Saturday the participants came up with several products and services linked to tourism.

They include booklets, handicrafts, jewellery, decoration demonstration, gastronomy and vehicles to support tourists.

Sunday (the second day of the event) features agro-industrial goods and information related to research, resorts, hygiene and safety. 

Speaking at opening ceremony, the Secretary of State for Tourism, Hélder Marcelino, called for greater commitment and attention to the rural spaces with touristic potential and which fail to receive great visibility due to lack of investment.
