In the meeting with the officers of the National Police on the location, after the opening of a new police station, Gaspar Almeida stressed the need to strengthen the work in the border areas between Namibe/Benguela, Namibe/Huíla and Namibe/Cunene.
"At entry points and border posts in the provinces, they must have devices capable of determining the clinical condition of travellers so that we avoid the presence of more cases," he said.
According to the official, it is not the police that should pressure the citizen to wear the mask on the street and in the places of leisure, but it is everyone's task, by denouncing the citizens who violate the sanitary fence and do not comply with the recommend procedures.
"The police must maintain the order and tranquility of the citizens," he said.
In this province, the General Commander of the National Police visited several police units in the municipality of Moçâmedes.
