Mass Media Minister works in Bié
Cuito - The Mass Media Minister, Nuno dos Anjos Albino, arrived today (Tuesday) in the municipality of Chitembo, to verify the functioning of the National Radio of Angola Broadcasting Center, starting his working visit to the central Bié province.

The Cabinet minister, whose delegation includes the CEOs of ANGOP, Josué Salusuva Isaias, of the National Radio of Angola (RNA), Marcos Lopes, and of the Public Television of Angola (TPA), Francisco Mendes, was received by the vice-governor of Bié for the Social, Political and Economic affairs, António Manuel.
After Chitembo, the minister travels to Cuito city (headquarters of the province of Bié), where, this afternoon, he will develop an intense activity, which begins with a courtesy meeting with the provincial governor of Bié, Pereira Alfredo.
Then, Nuno dos Anjos Albino and his entourage will meet, separately, with professionals and associations of the media, representatives of political parties, as well as visiting public and private bodies in the sector, to learn about their operation.
Still in compliance with his working agenda, the incumbent Minister will inaugurate a private radio broadcasting called “Rádio Cuquema”.

Saurimo - Some thirty-eight unexploded ordnances, including 19 antipersonnel mines, were removed in 2019 in the eastern Lunda Sul Province, the provincial department head of the National Demining Institute, (INAD), José Dumba, has revealed.
