ANGOP attends female leadership forum in Rabat
Rabat - Through the Angola Press Agency (ANGOP-E.P), Angola participates since last Monday in Rabat, Morocco, in the leadership seminar for women at news agencies.

The French Desk sub-editor, Luzia Ngoma, represents Angola in the event that occurs under the theme ‘‘Female Leadership: Needs and Strategies of African News Agencies''.
The event is being attended by twenty-one female professionals from 20 countries, namely Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Congo, Central African Republic, DRC, Cote d'Ivoir, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea Conakry, Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Togo, Morocco.
Intended exclusively for high-level female technical officials and journalists from African news agencies, this seminar is part of the training plan of the Atlantic Federation of African Press Agencies (FAAPA) for 2019.
The event aims to help to enhance women's leadership and influence skills, in order to optimize working relationships and defend their ideas.
For 5 days, the participants will debate topics such as “Leadership and personal development” and “The importance of communication for leadership”, among others.
The opening ceremony of the event was hosted today by the president of the Atlantic Federation of African Press Agencies (FAAPA), Khalil Hachimi Idrissi.
Headquartered in Morocco, FAAPA is a professional platform to promote the exchange of multimedia experiences, information and products, as well as the exchange of ideas and reflection on the future of African News Agencies, their role in the 21st century and their diversity and expertise.
FAAPA's objectives are also to establish a strategic partnership and develop relations between the News Agencies, as well as help to consolidate the free circulation of information, strengthen cooperation and coordination in regional and information forums.
