Bogus Police Officer arrested in Moxico

Luena - The Criminal Investigation Service (SIC) presented Friday, in Luena, a fake police office of the corporation, who was dedicated to extorting national and foreign citizens in the Alto Luena neighborhood.

The bogus police officer used the equipment and uniform used exclusively by National Police personnel to carry out their criminal actions.

According to the SIC spokesman, superintendent Mário Capenda, the case will be presented to the Public Prosecution Service.

The accused was sorry for the act and explained that the uniform he had in possession was stolen by his brother at the residence of a national police force.

On the occasion, the SIC also presented 37 Angolan citizens engaged in robberies and thefts in and around Luena city.

The PN recovered 11 motorcycles and other material goods.
