Namibe governor defends approach with residents
Tômbwa - The Namibe province governor, Archer Mangueira, defended last Friday greater proximity and communication between the administrators and the residents, in order to bring up solutions for the problems that plague the communities.

The official defended this need during the meeting held in Tômbwa municipality with the civil society members and the auscultation and social concertation council, in the context of its work visit to this location.
In the meeting, the governor advised the civil society members and residents to be the inspectors of the projects to be developed in the municipality and also to present ideas with solutions to sort out various issues that worry the community, such as sanitation, health, education, water and energy supply, communication routes, among others.
In that municipality, Archer Mangueira was concerned about the drought situation that still affects hundreds of families, who live in areas that is hard to reach.
“We are in a desert zone where access to water is difficult, so we have to create conditions so that the populations of these areas do not suffer,” he said.
For this governmental action to succeed, Archer Mangueira reaffirmed his special attention to human capital with the continuing training of man, so that in future there will be qualified staff in the competent administrations capable of giving solutions to certain issues still affecting the society today.
