The pledge came from the party’s first secretary in Malanje, Norberto dos Santos "Kwata Kanawa", who urged Friday the party’s youth and women wings, respectively JMPLA and OMA, to engage in awareness campaign against covid-19 in communities.
Addressing the local party militants, Kwata Kanawa recalled that despite the efforts made by various countries, there is still no effective cure for the pandemic.
In view of this situation, the politician said it was necessary to continues working on prevention which includes observing fundamental rules such as washing hands and regularly sanitizing the hands, the use of face masks, physical distancing and other measures.
“If everyone comply with the prevention will be possible to minimize the disease effects that is why JMPLA and OMA and the party's militant in general should reinforce this massage in the communities because the medicine is the prevention”, said the official.
