After passing the testing phase in large settlements, the campaign started Wednesday (8), reached the stage of analyzing samples of specific groups, as clarified by the official at the usual point of updating covid-19.

The Multisectoral Commission for Response to Covid-19 will set up a professional testing post in the field adjacent to the headquarters of Rádio Nacional de Angola (RNA) in the morning.

In three days, the massive campaign covered 10,186 people, including vendors and residents of Luanda markets, namely Catinton (Maianga), 30 (Viana), Kikolo (Cacuaco) and ASA Branca (Cazenga), and in the district of Mártires do Kifangondo, as well as in the municipality of Cazengo, Kwanza Norte province.

Of the more than 10,000 people, 7,500 were tested in Luanda, and only 57 samples, representing 0.8 percent, are expressed in the active or transitional phase of exposure to covid-19 and are therefore being reconfirmed with molecular biology testing.

"...That is to say, in every 100 per cent of the sample studied would have the exposure in the active or transitory phase of exposure to covid-19", he detailed.
