Covid-19: Health minister praises pandemic fight partnership
Luanda - Angolan Health minister Sílvia Lutucuta has praised the public-private contribution and partnerships in the prevention and fight against covid-19 pandemic in Angola.

The recognition was expressed at receiving ceremony of a Covid-19 testing machine from the Association of Exploration and Production Companies of Angola (ACEPA).
She stated that the industry and other institutions have been available and showing solidarity with the humanitarian cause towards the efforts of the country's authorities.
“We acknowledge the great support and solidarity by some of the several entities and organisations in the hard task of health. The supports and the solidarity significantly contribute to the important task that demands everyone's effort to halt the disease . So we do not have words to express our gratitude for the ACEPA move”, said the minister.
Sílvia Lutucuta added that as an institution focused on the oil sector and which supports for health sector, ACEPA has contributed to the increase of testing capacity at a crucial time of fight against this pandemic in the country.
She also said that at a time the country reports 500 infections, with only two positive cases at the oil sector, the testing capacity in Angola raises from 700 to 1,000 samples per day.
The RTPCR testing machine, with the capacity to perform up to 320 daily tests, will increase to about 50 per cent the INIS capacity.
