In Cuanza Sul province, CVA focused its campaign on markets, public transport stopping points, ATMs, commercial outlets and in neighborhoods of the province's capital in Sumbe, explaining the symptoms of coronavirus and ways of prevention.

Speaking to the press, the CVA coordinator in Cuanza Sul province, Rui Manuel Tomás, regretted and strongly condemned the behavior of some citizens who insist on moving in the streets in a clear defiance of the government guidelines.

In Cunene, mainly in the municipality of Cuanhama, twenty CVA activists are involved in raising awareness among the population in rural areas, urging the residents to comply with preventive measures against the coronavirus (Covid-19).

Angola decreed on the 27th March the State of Emergence, amid the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
