Construction ministry announces kits for maintenance service

Huambo - Angolan minister of Construction and Public Works Manuel Tavares de Almeida announced last Thursday that his institution acquired this year 35 full kits for road maintenance and conservation, as well as open the secondary and tertiary roads.

The  Euro 90 million equipment will also help combat ravines, under  execution of the Integrated  Municipal Intervention  Programme  (PIIM).

They include bulldozers, motor graders, excavators, cylinders,  brush cutters, loaders, compactors, among others.

Speaking to the press on the sidelines of  the 7° Edition of the Forum of Municipalities and Cities of Angola (FMCA), held in central province of Huambo, Manuel de Almeida said 15  kits  have already been distributed for  some provinces, with the exception  for  Huambo, Benguela and Luanda.
