Angolaca wants to lead national market for granite furniture
Huambo - Angolaca has expressed its intention to lead the domestic market of furniture made of granite, extracted and produced in central Huambo province, said Monday the company’s general director, Manuel Messias.

Angop learnt that the Angolan and Portuguese right group “Angolaca”, created a brand called Huambo gray granite, aimed at promoting the ornamental rocks of the region.
Located between Huambo and Caála, Angolaca is mainly tasked with making several urban furniture, previously imported, such as chairs, tables and graves, as well as artifacts to apply on sidewalks and stairs.
Manuel Messias said the production is currently restricted to the local market, adding that studies on methods to cover other country’s provinces are in progress.
Angolaca group comprises AgroAngola, Pedraca and Ambiáfrica, with focus on construction, agriculture, manufacture of various rock artifacts, water analysis and urban sanitation.
