Angolan Trade minister backs China-Africa transparent relationship
Jinhua - Relationship between China and Africa must be “sincere and transparent,” Angola’s Trade Minister Joffre Van-Dúnem Júnior said on Monday in the Chinese city of Jinhua, in Zhejiang province.

The minister was speaking at the opening of the “Week of Cultural Exchange and Economic and Trade Cooperation of the China-Africa Economic and Trade Relations Forum”.
The ceremony was attended by over 500 people, including businesspeople, politicians, academics and university students.
Running from 10 to 14 November, the “Week” follows the China International Import and Export Fair (Expo-Shanghai), in which Angola participated with a delegation of about 120 people, including Government members, businesspeople, and cultural representatives.
Van-Dúnem Júnior also referred to the ongoing reforms in Angola, among which he highlighted the new Private Investment Law, the introduction of Value Added Tax (VAT) and the privatisation programme, reforms focused on improving the business and investment environment in the country.
