Luanda: Quiminha project predicts egg production increase
Luanda - Nineteen million eggs are expected to be produced by the state-run Integrated Agricultural and Regional Development Project of Quiminha by the yearend, local manager Hermenegildo Vieira Dias has said.

Hermenegildo Vieira Dias told journalists, who visited the site, that 80,000 eggs are collected every day.
He added that the production may increase in the coming years to 24 million/year.
The manager said that Quiminha Project is also working to bring 35,000 tons of agricultural products into the market before the end of the year.
The products include potatoes, sweet potatoes, onions, peppers, cucumbers, melons, watermelon, banana, tomato, corn and soybeans.
Hermenegildo Vieira Dias also announced that conditions are being created for the production of mango, avocado, orange and lemon.
The project has 600 workers of various specialties with 39 percent being women.
Journalists from various Media houses, with stress to “Luanda Antena Comercial” LAC radio, Angola News Agency (Angop), news paper "Jornal de Angola" and TVZimbo television station, have visited the project.
