Angola may lose African Paralympics headquarters
Luanda - The headquarters of the African Paralympics Committee (APC), provisionally located in Luanda, are expected to be transferred this year to South Africa or Tunisia, the chairperson of the institution, the Angolan Leonel da Rocha Pinto, said on Saturday.

However, Pinto did not yet define a place for its operation, years after the country had made this commitment, its transfer was imminent.
Leonel Pinto also said he was surprised by a communication from the Ministry of Youth and Sports stating that the space the headquarters used to be was unfortunately unavailable.
Leonel Pinto, who is also president of the Angolan Paralympic Committee spoke of the stages of development of the adapted sport inside and outside the African continent, adding that he feels sad because the recognition has generally come from outside.
Leonel da Rocha Pinto is also a member of the Executive Committee of the International Paralympic Committee.
