Swimming: Maria Freitas wins another gold in regional tournament
Luanda - The Angolan swimmer Maria Freitas won last Saturday the gold medal in the in African regional tournament, which takes place in the city of Gaborone, Botswana, after having done the same feat the previous day.

The athlete from the Nautical Club timed 1 min 24 seconds and 73 tenths, in the 100 meter breaststroke category.
Last Friday she took gold in the 200 metres, same category, with the time of 3 min, 2 seconds and 3 tenths.
On the third day of the race, Maria Freitas snatched another bronze medal in the 200 meters backstroke, with the mark of 2 minutes and 44 sec.
In the debut she got the bronze medal in the 50 meters breaststroke of 33 sec, bringing to four the number of medals in her personal account and five in total for the country.
The other silver medal was won last Friday by Filipe Freitas, in the 200 meters breaststroke (2 minutes and 44 sec).
Angola participates in the event with a team in both sexes, consisting of 23 athletes.
The competition ends Sunday, Feb 23.
