Portugal: Gelson scores twice and guarantees Rio Ave's victory

Porto - The two goals scored by Gelson Dala secured last Saturday's victory of Rio Ave squad in the home of Tondela (2-1), with the Angolan striker scoring in the 74th and 90th minutes, in a game for the 22nd round of the Portuguese first league football championship.

In the first goal of Rio Ave, Tondela replied with a João Pedro goal, at 83 minutes, from a penalty, but another goal by Gelson Dala, almost at the end of the game, guaranteed the victory of the visiting team, coached by Carlos Carvalhal.

The triumph leaves Rio Ave in the fifth place, with the same 36 points as Sporting, which receive Boavista on Sunday (Feb 23), while Tondela come 13th, with 24 point.
