FIFA Cup/U-17: Angola fail to reach quarter-finals
Luanda - The Under 17 national football team were ousted last Tuesday from the World Cup which is being held in Brazil, after losing 0-1 to South Korea, in a game of the eighth-finals of the competition happening in Goiania, Brazil.

The only goal of the match was scored by Choi Minsed, around 32 minutes.
With that ends the participation of the national squad, who, to get to this point overcame New Zealand (2-1) and Canada (2-1) and were beaten by the Brazilian team 0-2, results that enabled the Angolan boys to end up in the second position of group A with six points.
This is the third time that Angola participate in a world football cup of this category, after the country achieved such feat with the Under-20 team, in 2001, and the main senior males squad in 2006.
