Luanda - Angolan minister of Higher Education, Science Technology and Innovation Maria do Rosário Sambo is attending the round table on "The Impact of Rapid Technological Change in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, going from 14 -18 May in Geneva, Switzerland.

Angolan delegation at 21st annual session of UN commission of science and technology

Maria do Rosário Sambo is representing the country at the event taking place ahead of the 21st Annual Session of the United Nations Commission on Science and Technology for Development, reads a press release sent to Angop Wednesday.

Global leaders are holding talk with policy makers, international organisations and other stakeholders on benefit from new and emerging technologies as well as to mitigate the danger.

The high-level policymakers will seize the opportunity to identify effective policies and strategies in the area of science, technology and innovation (CTI).

The intention is to prepare the societies for rapid technological change, share experiences at the national level and identify areas for international cooperation.
