Ex-Sovereign wealth fund CEO lawsuit forwarded to Supreme Court
Luanda - Attorney General's Office (PGR) has forwarded to the Supreme Court the lawsuit against the former boss of the Angola Sovereign Wealth Fund (FSDEA), José Filomeno dos Santos, charged with asset mismanagement.

The fact was confirmed by deputy Attorney General, Pascoal Joaquim, while speaking to the press on the sidelines of the Portuguese Justice minister Francisca Van-Dúnem’s visit to Attorney General’s Office.
José Filomeno dos Santos is accused of getting involved in criminal association, corrupt practice and money laundering, while at the helm of the institution, created in 2012.
Another crime in which the former FSDEA CEO is accused of has to do with the alleged illegal transfer of USD 500 million from State coffers to an HSBC holdings Plc account in the UK.
José Filomeno dos Santos, who was released from jail on March 25 this year, after spending six months under police custody, is currently awaiting trial in the country.
