Ruling party gears up for municipal elections

In this way, the MPLA will continue to promote a comprehensive programme to retrieve good civic, moral and patriotic habits and values and respect for public assets, involving party structures, militants and other civil society organizations.
After considering communication as one of the means for strengthening democracy, Luísa Damião advocated better understanding of the ICT phenomenon to improve the interaction with society.
The MPLA wants to disseminate and defend its main positions in the political, economic and social context and define a new strategy for the functioning of the party's digital platforms, always aiming for greater interaction with the people, promoting studies and training for the correct use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs).
Internally, the MPLA intends to intensify the work of revitalizing grassroots organizations and to improve the political training of the leaders, cadres and militants of the party.
Luísa Dmião reconfirmed this year's convening of an Extraordinary Congress, with the aim of adapting the party's structures to the new political, economic, social and cultural challenges.
