Bengo's consultative council to assess national culture

Luanda - The program of actions of the cultural sector including in the National Development Plan 2018-2022 will be analyzed during the extended consultative council of the Ministry of Culture to take place in the town of Caxito, Bengo province from 27 to 28 May.

During the two days, the council will also discuss the programs related to the valorization and dynamization of the historical and cultural heritage.

Under the guidance of the Minister of Culture, Carolina Cerqueira, cultural agents will also review the actions aimed at fostering  creative industries, cultural diplomacy, provincial, municipal and local cultural programs.

The agenda also includes an approach on the third national meeting of traditional authorities, the Kongo International Festival (FestiKongo), the Luanda Biennial - Pan-African Forum for the Culture of Peace, the program of implementation of Copyright and Revenue Collection.

Visits to touristcs sites such as the Mabubas dam and others in the province are also included in the working program of the connsultative council.
