The exhibition brings together a large set of acrylic and acrylic masses on linen screen, confirming its identity trait, marked by a chromatic explosion that interweaves and harmonizes a varied range of colors, predominating the hot fire and strength, but also inhabit tranquil greens and deep and infinite blue.
Isabel Baptista did not resist the appeal of poetry, revealing, in poetic language, the concept and deep meaning of this latest work.
Isabel Baptista is a charismatic figure in the cultural world of Luanda, consecrated for her artistic work, but also for her outstanding role at Galeria Cenários, a pioneer of Art Galleries in post-independence Angola.
Isabel Baptista was born in Luanda, where she studied painting at the former Industrial School in the late sixties. She made her first solo exhibition in 1990 at the Museum of Natural History.
