According to a note from the SADC National Secretariat, which reached ANGOP on Friday, the Angolan delegation to this meeting will be headed by the Secretary of State for Land Transport, Guido Waldemar Cristovão.
The ministerial gathering will be preceded by a meeting of experts of the sectors of transports, Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and Meteorology.
The meeting will be marked by a high-level dialogue on information technology and broadband access, an initiative aimed at extending the discussion on access to broadband technology.
In Tanzania, SADC leaders will evaluate reports relating to projects on ICT, transport and meteorology.
The ministers will also make an assessment of the Regional Indicative Development Plan, particularly for infrastructure projects supporting regional integration, the 2020-2030 Regional Infrastructure Development Master Plan and the 2019-2023 Action Plan.
Infrastructure projects are intended to improve the business environment in the SADC region, with a greater focus on the industrial sector, with a view to materializing the regional integration process.
