Luanda: UCP demands increased government responsibility
Luanda - The governor of Luanda province Sérgio Luther Rescova said Wednesday that the presentation of the Public Procurement Unit (UCP) will demand increased responsibility of the government of Luanda province (GPL), entailing more strictness and transparency in hiring service providers companies.

The governor was speaking at the presentation ceremony of the members of the provincial UCP, calling on the technicians for competency in performing their task.
He said that there are several diplomas for this purpose, mentioning the law on General State Budget (OGE) and the Law on Public Procurement.
Regarding the attitude the agents of the public administration must have in management of the asset, the governor appealed to the technicians to abide by the Code of Ethics of Public Procurement.
