This is GGPEN’s commitment to educational purpose aimed to transmit to the national academy knowledge about science and space technology.
The equipment will allow students to exercise the gyroscope and accelerometer function (control of a satellite) and measure temperature, pressure, humidity, carbon monoxide concentration in the air and take pictures at great distances.
The Management Office of the National Space Programme (GGPEN) is assigned to the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technology (MTTI) and the academy.
The equipment serves for educational purposes, allowing students to have space experiences from the design, construction, launch and operation of a satellite.
The satellites which reached an altitude of five kilometers from the launch zone have started sending telemetric data to the Cabo Ledo earth station.
The process was backed by Angola’s National Air Force (FAN).
