Angolan disability team receives CAN award
Luanda - Ministry of Youth and Sports said it has paid the cash prize to national disability team for winning the African Football Championship disputed in the coastal Benguela province on October 2019.

Each of the 14 African champion athletes received more than Akz 3 million, including the coaches, the head of delegation and a statistician, said the secretary general of the Angolan Paralympic Committee, António da Luz.
"The money started to be deposited in the respective bank accounts from Tuesday," he explained.
Speaking to Angop, the official said that the national team also received the monetary prize corresponding to the victories achieved by each stage reached in the event until the final, but he would not specify the values.
Angola won the unprecedented title after beating Nigeria 2-0 in the final at São Filipe stadium.
Other teams such as Tanzania, Liberia, Cameroon and Sierra Leone also took part in the competition.
