Luanda: Angolan senior men's national handball team defeated their counterpart Nigeria 30-24 in group B of the 24th edition of the African Championship (CAN2020) disputed in Radès (Tunisia).

Angola play again on Friday at 2 pm against Libya.
Still Thursday, Libya and Gabon played out a 22 draw, while Algeria beat Zambia 34-9, Egypt - Guinea (39-22), Morocco- Congo (34-25), Cameroon vs Cote d' Ivoire (28-19).
The African Championship runs from 16 to 26 January in Tunisia, the continental title holders won in 2018 in Gabon.
