Afrobasket2019: Angolan ladies beat Egypt, scramble for fifth position
Luanda - The senior females National Basketball Team last Friday in Dakar beat Egypt by 68-66 and will thus play DR Congo this Saturday and vie to achieve the fifth position of the African championship.

By the end of the first half the Angolan ladies were losing 23-7.
Nadir Manuel (12 points, 5 rebounds) and Luísa Macuto (10 points, 6 rebounds) had outstanding performances for the national team.
The best scorer of the game was the Egyptian Raneem Elgedawy with 20 points.
The national squad want to improve the sixth position achieved in the previous African championship.
