This will happen in view of the fact that coach Filipe Cruz, who was at the helm of the squad, is about to sign a contract with the Congolese handball federation to manage the neighbouring country’s male national team.
ANGOP has learnt that in the same press conference, the FAAND will also speak about the senior females National Handball Team, who are preparing themselves to participate in the World Cup, set to happen from 30 November to 15 December this year, in Japan.
According to ANGOP’s source, the current situation with both national teams, including financial issues, will dominate Friday’s press conference.
Another topic tipped to be on the agenda of the federation for Friday is the participation of the senior men’s National Team in the African championship, scheduled for next January 15 to 25, in Tunisia, in regard to which the squad intend to improve the third position achieved in the last African nations cup.
