Girabola2019/20: Interclube fire coach Bruno Ribeiro

Luanda - Interclube club terminated the contract with the Portuguese coach Bruno Ribeiro, because of personal issues and bad results in the top division National Football Championship (Girabola 2019/20).

The 43 year- old coached Interclube for eleven months, when he had a year and half contract.

During the present season, in eleven matches, he had four wins, three draws and lost four games.

He leaves the club in the sixth place with 15 points. The current deputy coach Ivo Campos is temporarily taking over the team.

Talking to Radio 5 sports station, the coach confirmed his leaving of the club because of family problems as well as the results that until now the club achieved, which are not satisfactory.

Bruno Ribeiro, who replaced the Portuguese-Angolan Rui Garcia, has also previously managed Portuguese clubs such as Farense, Moura, Pinhalnovense, Académico de Viseu, Salgueiros, Cova da Piedade, the búlgaros do Ludogorets and the Port Vale English team.

In the present football season, three other coaches have already been dismissed, namely Kiombo Rodrigues from Santa Rita de Cássia team, Hélder Teixeira from Caála and Paulo Torres from Sagrada Esperança.
