The Sable Antelopes started well, even scoring first, through Wilson Eduardo, in less than two minutes of the game. However, the Gambians managed to do a turnover still in the first half, by scoring two goals, through Ceesay, before the break period.

Gambia’s Marreh increased their squad’s advantage by scoring the third goal at minute 89 of the match.

The next game (group D’s second round) of the Angolan National Team is scheduled for 17 November in Gabon.

The Gabonese are in the D.R.C to face the Congolese this Thursday for the closure of Group D’s first round.
