Angola: Flyovers to improve traffic in Luanda

Luanda - The car traffic constraints in the city of Luanda could reduce substantially in the coming days, with the functioning of the viaducts of the Catete, Camama, Boa Vista, Zango and Kilamba Centrality.

Construction minister Carlos Fortunato said that Friday while speaking to the press at the end of a visit to works on the viaduct of the Operational Unit, which has a length of 510 meters, 20 meters wide, two lanes in each way and a height of 5.5 meters.

According to the official, the works of said viaducts are in the final phase and the intention is to deliver to the population of Luanda in the coming days.

The works in Luanda have been planned in a broad way, with the strategy of prioritizing some of the routes that fit into the new Luanda International Airport in the municipality of Icolo e Bengo, and offer an improvement in traffic mobility in the city.
