Cunene: President's aide defends greater inclusion of San community

Ondjiva - The Secretary for Social Affairs of the President of Republic Fátima Viegas on Thursday in southern Cunene province defended the inclusion of the San (Khoisan) communities in all social sectors.

The official was speaking at the ceremony dedicated to the launch of a book entitled "The daily life of San", by the writer Salvador Ferreira.
She said it was urgent to reinforce the actions aimed at protecting and promoting the well-being of this community, in order to ensure their participation in the development of Angolan society.
In view of the living conditions of the San people, Fátima Viega defends services that enable them to remain in the same place.
She said this process takes time, but achievable with the combined effort.
The President’s aide also extolled the writer's effort to bring to the public a literary work that portrays the struggle for survival and daily suffering of the San (Khoisan).
