Angola: Police advise on use of rotating latches in container transport

Luanda - Drivers of Cargo transport were advised Friday in Luanda by the National Police to use rotating latches on trucks so as to prevent tipping containers from merchants and avoid accidents caused by them in public roads.

The information officer of the Luanda Provincial Command of the National Police,  sub-inspector Euler Matari, who told  ANGOP that advised the owners of heavy vehicles, with a greater impact on container transport, to sensitize their drivers to comply  with instructions, otherwise they will be punished.

According to the official, in the last 24 hours, the police detained 46 citizens suspected of committing crimes, including one for possession of drug (cannabis), two for vandalism (destruction of a poster with the face of a candidate for President of the Republic in the General elections of 23 August and another, for destroying the flag of a political party in campaign of the next elections.
