This was said Monday in Luanda by the minister of Public Administration, Labour and Social Security, António Pitra Neto.
The minister was addressing the opening ceremony of the meeting on “Job active policies and vocational training systems", said the range of courses rose from 105 to 127.
He said the number of candidates in the above period was 334,900, and 221,825 registered and 162,628 completed the training. 26,187 dropped out.
Pitra Neto said that in the period in respect, 12 pavilions were built and are currently in operation, with the National Centre of Training of Trainers graduating 7,029 teachers in the period in respect.
The minister added that the programme that started in 2014 in seven of the country’s 18 provinces has trained 3,566 females.
According to him, the national economy has produced 886,440 jobs, mainly in the sectors of electricity and water, commerce, hotels and tourism, transport, geology and mining, agriculture and fisheries.
Pitra Neto stated that 78,162 young people trained in entrepreneurship and job centres and services have been established in ten provincial headquarters that trained 3,336 people.
