Human capital appreciation seen as Government pillar

Luanda - The commitment to the valorization of human capital and the promotion of qualified and remunerated employment constitute pillars of the Angolan Government in the sector of professional training for the period 2017/2022, said Tuesday Minister of Public Administration, Labor and Social Security, Jesus Maiato.

The Cabinet minister who was speaking at the closing ceremony of the training cycle of 2017, under the national system of vocational training.

To him the realization of this purpose should increasingly strengthen the national vocational training system, and consider the entrepreneurial sector to be of paramount importance in redefining exit profiles and adjusting curricula of the various courses.

He also said that dual training should be implemented and reinforced in a real work context in order to provide finalists with professional or curricular internships.

Jesus Maito also defended the revision of the career of the trainer of vocational training, so as to raise it to the same degree of demand and remuneration of the other careers of the general education system.

According to the official, the training year that ended officially Thursday had 83,563 registered candidates, of which 64,279 were registered in the centers sponsored by the National Institute of Employment and Professional Training (INEFOP).
