Speaking to journalists, minister Pitra Neto said the new structuring model will be implemented by phases in four sectors, namely agriculture, energy and water, transport and industry.
He said the new model is meant to balance the criteria of academic education as relevant in the definition of workers' remuneration.
According to him, the public companies from the four sectors of the real economy that will be selected will undergo a study to stablish the salary definition and perception.
As to the salary ceiling, the minister said that will follow a work being done by a commission led by the secretary of State for Economy, Laura de Alcântara Monteiro, assisted by another four colleagues from agriculture, industry, energy and water and transports sectors.
The said commission has been given 30 days to come up with the new salary proposal for the civil servants and 90 for implementation.
