Habitation Fund launches tender for security firms

Luanda - The Habitation Fomentation Fund (FFH) launched on August 01 a tender for security firms interested in keeping the safety of the housing projects owned by the Finances and Territory Planning and Habitation ministries.

With this initiative, the ministries seek to keep the security of more than 15 housing projects nationwide, in which several armed robbery and vandalized cars have been recorded.
According to an announcement from the FFH published by the daily newspaper “Jornal de Angola”, the tender is open for local and foreign security firms, which will get 820.5 million of kwanzas to provide services in 12 months.
Applicants must have among other documents, a certificate of the Home Ministry, which enables firms to operate in the security sector in Angola.
Angola has since 2012 over 15 housing projects built in the provinces of Luanda, Benguela, Bengo, Namibe, Huíla, Huambo , while others in Malanje, Cuando Cubango, Bengo, Zaire, Cuanza Norte and Lunda Sul are still to be concluded.
