Lindsay Northover, who was received by Environment Minister Paula Coelho during her work visit to Angola, received information on the strategies that are underway and the preservation of the country's conservation areas, in a total of 12, 7 percent of the national territory.

The envoy of the British prime minister also gave a positive note to the Angolan government for its continuous engagement in the fight against the effects of climate change, which is currently more resentful in the southern region of the country, especially Cunene province.

As a result of this situation, Lindsay Northover made available her government's assistance to Angola, since her country has long been working on issues related to climate change.

"The United Kingdom has been working for some time on these climate change issues and will be willing to work with the Angolan Government," said Lindsay Northover.
