President sends condolences to Russian people

Luanda - Angolan Head of State, João Lourenço, on Monday sent a message of condolences to the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, following the "tragic air accident" on Sunday on Russian soil.

"It was with deep consternation that I became aware of the tragic accident that occurred on 11th February this year in the town of Argunovo, involving an Antonov AN-148 aircraft from the Saratov Airlines aviation company, which killed seventy-one people", wrote the Angolan Head of State in the message.
In the same note, João Lourenço, on behalf of the Executive, the Angolan People and on his own, expressed total solidarity with President Putin, the Russian people, and the bereaved families.
