The Zimbabwean senator, who was speaking to Angop at Luanda's "4 de Fevereiro” International Airport, said she was pleased with what she could see.
The official urged the member countries of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) to follow Angola's example in the actions related to the promotion of gender policies.
According to her, this situation pleases the Parliamentary Forum".
Monica Mutsvangwa ended a two-day visit to Angola after launching the UN He for She campaign, at a ceremony held Wednesday at National Assembly (Parliament), attended by the Speaker, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos, and MPs.
Calling for the commitment of Parliamentarians and government in the region, the SADC Parliamentary Forum official also said the promotion of women is not only a question of human rights but also economic one, stressing that everything must start in Parliaments.
Monica Mutsvangwa stressed the work done by Angolan women in the National Assembly, government and other sectors.
According to her, the work reinforces cooperation among Parliamentarians from Zimbabwe and Angola and experience-sharing missions.
The campaign was officially launched in March by Angolan minister of Family and women promotion, Filomena Delgado.
