The official made this appeal when he participated in the Thanksgiving service held in the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the World (Tocoist), stating that Angola is experiencing a crucial moment in its history in conducting its fourth elections.

At the time, Higino Carneiro said that it is the duty of every citizen over the age of 18 to make his electoral registration.

He explained that democracy is the will of the people, but it can only be expressed through voting if citizens have their voter cards.

"At the time of the election no one will be able to vote with their Identity Card or Passport, but only with the voter card, for that reason who has not yet registered to do so now because there are only 12 days left and there will be no extension as in other occasions", he said.

The governor also took the opportunity to extol the social work developed by the Tocoist Church, especially in regard to education and health.

He considered this church a privileged partner of the Provincial Government of Luanda in carrying out campaigns with society aimed at instilling a sense of harmony and peace among all citizens.
