This was said to the press on Friday in Luanda by the Foreign Affairs Minister Georges Rebelo Pinto Chikoti, on the sidelines of the accreditation act of new ambassadors by the Angolan Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, at the Presidential Palace.
Asked about the state of cooperation relations and the probable visit of top Portuguese officials to Angola, Georges Chikoti said that "it is necessary to look at Portugal as an important partner, but that relations between both countries can only be good if there is reciprocal treatment of political entities and countries ".
"Even if it is the Portuguese media itself, because the Angolan media do not attack foreign leaders, nor other countries", he said.
To him, "the future of relations between the two countries can only be better if these aspects are improved".
