The illegal immigrants were intended to reach the capital of the country with the help of an Angolan truck driver, who collected monetary in the amount between 100,000 kwanzas and 150 US dollars, from each citizen of this neighboring country.

The chief of the provincial directorate of the Migration and Foreigners Service (SME), superintendent Sebastião Bunga, who was speaking to the press, explained that the democratic Congolese entered the country through the border post of Luvo, municipality of Mbanza Kongo.

"The detention of these citizens was only possible thanks to the tip off made by national citizens, detailing the scheme used by the group," he explained.
