Angola is represented by a delegation led by the minister of Agriculture and Forests, António Francisco de Assis.
The session will discuss matters such as adjustment of the 2020-2021 working programme and budget” .
The participants will also analyse the joint meeting of the committee on programme and the committee on finance.
According to his working agenda, the Angolan official is expected to meet with the FAO director general Qu Dongyu.
António Francisco de Assis will also meet with the chairperson of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), Gilbert Houngbo.
The programme also includes an audience with the counterparts from Namíbia Alpheus Naruseb, Cabo Verde Gilberto Silva Carvalho, and Italy Teresa Bellanova.
The meeting with the president of the African ambassadors to United Nations Agencies in Rome (FAO, IFAD and WFP) the Nigerian ambassador, Yaya Olaniran, is also part of the programme.
