Benguela still open to investors - Governor

Benguela - The governor of Benguela province, Isaac Maria dos Anjos, said that Benguela remains open to investment and investors, in order to contribute to the development of the region.

Presiding over on Wednesday evening the opening ceremony of the Benguela International Fair FIB 2017, Isaac dos Anjos said that in Benguela despite the current difficulties it is possible to continue exhibiting what the companies produce.

He called on national and international investors to invest in the social and economic sector of the province, since Benguela has many resources to be invested.

On his turn, the chairman of the board of directors of Arena Group, Bruno Albernaz, praised the partnership between his company and the different entities related to the business sector, as a motivating factor for the seventh International Benguela Fair (FIB), running from 17 to 21 May.

The fair, which kicked off Wednesday at 3 p.m in Ombaka stadium, counts on the participation of more than 100 national and foreign companies, as part of the city’s 400 years celebration, marked on May 17.

The event also counts on the presence of companies of telecommunication, construction, agro-industry, fisheries, electronic, fashion, mechanics and services suppliers, among others.
