Angola: Oil export revenues increases to over AKZ 22 billion

Luanda - At least 132.9 billion kwanzas were reaped in March this year with the export of 47.4 million oil barrels, according to the report from the Ministry of Finance that reached Angop on Thursday.

In comparison to February, it was recorded an increase of 22.4 billion kwanzas, as that period enabled the collection of 110.5 billion kwanzas achieved through the export of 47.47  million of oil barrels.  

According to the report, Brent crude oil was exported in average amount of USD 51.769 against the USD 52.885 recorded in the period of comparison of the outcomes.

The said revenues were raised from the revenues of the Oil Income Tax, Oil Production Tax and Oil Transaction Tax, besides the national companies, which total 12.  

Until last February, Angola was still in the lead of the oil producing countries in Africa, even having recorded a fall of production equivalent to 18.2000 oil barrels per day, according to data from the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
