This was said Monday by the head of the Department of Training, Publications and Press of Inadec, Joana Tomás, who would not justify the causes of the relative decrease in the number of complaints.
She explained that of the total number of complaints filed in 2015, 347 were handled and 106 remained pending.
Whereas, in 2016 the number of complaints handled was lower (342) and 170 remained unresolved.
Regarding mediation to resolve conflicts of interest between consumer and supplier, the manager put at 321, 37 more than in 2016, the year the sector mediated 284 controversial situations.
As for the reports, said the official, they received 77 in 2015 and 105 in 2016.
She also mentioned 117 lectures (2015) and 92 in 2016 as having been held, apart from 264 training actions held in 2015 and 354 others in 2016.
On the other hand, Joana Tomás said that the institute is facing several difficulties, including lack of adequate infrastructure, working means, financial resources and transport.
